As men, we have a crucial role in our families, our parishes, the Church and in society. We are called to prayer. In prayer is where we will find our true strength. I look to St. Joseph as the perfect guide to manhood. Provider, protector, teacher, perfect father and perfect husband. He said very little and did so much! And most of what we hear about him is centered around prayer and God speaking to him.
This is why I find it crucial for us as men to quiet ourselves and all the distractions to enter into prayer and give space for God to speak with us. This is how we will be guided by the Holy Spirit in all that we do and in the decisions we make.
The Rosary provides a path to leave distractions and enter inward providing the quiet space we need. Invoking the Blessed Mother is beneficial beyond expression. She has the ear of her husband and her Son.
Jesus, Mary and Joseph…..pray for us!
